I’m Richard McGhie, a UK-born artist now based in the Turks and Caicos Islands. I mainly work with acrylics, creating paintings deeply influenced by the islands’ light, color, and easygoing atmosphere.

The sea, local culture, and everyday island life are constant sources of inspiration. My work moves between moments of calm and energy; from wide, open seascapes to more expressive scenes that feel rooted in place. Through each piece, I aim to capture the rhythm, spirit, and feeling of the Caribbean as I experience it.
